Flanged swing check valve (GA model)
GA model swing check valve with flanged ends. Body, disc and bonnet in A536 65-45-12 ductile iron, brass bushing and graphite gasket. Closes by gravity when the flow stops and protects pumps and networks against backflow, from DN 50 to DN 350.

The flanged swing check valve is the classic, robust solution to prevent backflow in rising mains and distribution networks. Its disc, hinged at the top of the body, opens with the flow itself and returns to its seat by gravity and back-pressure as soon as the flow stops, fully automatically and without external power.
Body, disc and bonnet are made of A536 grade 65-45-12 ductile iron, with a brass bushing, carbon steel bolting and an encapsulated graphite gasket. The bolted bonnet gives access to the interior for inspection or disc replacement without removing the valve from the pipe, and the limit block restricts the disc travel for smooth, long-lasting operation.
Supplied with flanges to UNE-EN 1092-2 (PN 10/16) for direct mounting on ductile iron, steel or PVC pipe with stub flanges. It complements the Grupo Almagromur ball and dual-plate check valves in pumping, water supply and irrigation.
