This Gibault joint represents the new generation of mechanical couplings for PVC pipes. It is built entirely in GGG-50 ductile iron, giving it strength and load-bearing capacity far superior to traditional grey cast iron joints.
The main innovation of this model is its trapezoidal-section EPDM gasket. When compressed, this advanced design exerts a much more effective and uniform sealing pressure on the pipe surface. This not only guarantees a perfect seal under pressure, but also increases the security of the anchorage.
Fitted with high-strength (8.8) steel bolts with anti-corrosion treatment, this joint is the definitive choice for critical repairs, new works and any PVC installation requiring maximum reliability and a long service life.
