The GA14-4 Gibault joint with PVC spool is the repair tool par excellence. It has been designed to solve one of the most common maintenance problems in the simplest possible way: replacing a broken or damaged section of pipe.
Its unique design replaces the heavy cast iron central sleeve with a spool (a length of pipe) of PN10 pressure PVC. This allows the coupling to work as a slip joint: after cutting out and removing the damaged section, this coupling can bridge the gap and, by tightening the cast iron end rings, seal the joint at both ends.
This functionality eliminates the need for extremely precise cuts and greatly simplifies work in the trench. It is a lightweight, economical and highly effective solution for quick repairs on irrigation, drainage and other low-pressure networks.
