The mechanical-joint fitting family is designed to configure ductile iron pipe networks without welding or flanges. Each item incorporates a socket with gland and elastomer gasket that is compressed by bolts, creating a watertight, dismountable joint that tolerates the misalignment typical of site conditions.
The range covers 11° and 22° elbows, all-socket tees, tees with flanged branch, socket-socket reducers and sleeves, in diameters from DN 80 to DN 800. All items are made of ductile iron and supplied with an epoxy coating for a long service life in buried installations.
It is the usual solution for water utilities and hydraulic works contractors for branches, changes of direction and transitions in existing cast iron networks.
